The deadline to submit an application to be a member of one of the Town of Tecumseh Committees is nearing (October 31, 2018). A link to a list of Committees can be found here. A newly formed committee, the Compensation Review Committee, will review compensation for members of Council, including the option of Post Retirement Benefits. Ward 2 and Tecumseh Residents,
Voting for the 2018 Municipal Elections has begun. Residents should have received their Voting Information Letters (VIL) in the mail. This letter will provide you with your PIN and voting options. The position of Mayor, Ward 2 Councillor and Catholic School Board Trustee have been acclaimed and you will not need to vote for those positions. Ward 2 Residents will need to elect a Deputy Mayor and Public School Board Trustee. Voting will be done through the internet and telephone. Residents may also vote at Town Hall on Weekdays October 12 through 19 8:30 am - 6:00 pm Saturday October 20 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Election Day October 22 8:30 am to 8:00 pm Eligible electors who do not appear on the Voters' List are required to fill out an Application to Amend the Voters' List (Form EL15). Applications to Amend the Voters' List must be submitted in person to the Clerk, or designate, at Tecumseh Town Hall. Photo identification will also be required.
